Marketing Manager
Responsible for overseeing all marketing, advertising and promotional activities. Also needs to establish marketing approach to meet organisational and policy objectives. Typically the marketing managers will also oversee marketing strategies to meet CityMuslims objectives also initiating research to implement marketing plan changes as needed.

Website Developer and Maintenance
Needed with a creative flair to design and update the CityMuslims website. The role demands flexibility and an individual who is able to update the site at short notice. Good HTML skills needed, with previous web experience essential. Web designers are also responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of a website including deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimised and presented. You will also need to ensure that material on the web site is accessible, tested the site for function appropriately in different browsers and at different resolutions.

Design and Publishing Manager
Responsible for graphical design and production of leaflets, brochures and external publications for both internal and external use.

Event Coordinators (x2)
Should be detail-oriented and able to forecast what will be needed for each event; essentially a good planner. This person should also be creative in order to introduce new ideas to the organisation, whilst also possessing good communication skills. Some previous experience of organising events will be useful to ensure the successful delivery of events and projects.

Researchers, Writers and Website Contributors
CityMuslims is actively looking for contribution to the articles and events section and is in need for individuals who can write material, add useful information and advise on city related issues for uploading to the web site. Writers are needed who possesses an articulate flair for adding new material.

Sports coordinator (x 2 - male and female)
To aid the sporting activities of CityMuslims we are looking for individuals with an active sporting background who can coordinate and assist with events in and around the city.

Company Networks lead
Responsible for external liaison with City institutions and organisations. Must be a good communicator and able to interact at senior level. Also responsible for advising on projects related to City institutions and Corporate HR departments.

Charity and Community work lead
CityMuslims is a not-for-profit organisation. As such we required someone with the skills to assistant with raising funds and developing new avenues for corporate sponsorship.

Media response lead
We are currently seeking an individual to manage and facilitate CityMuslims media team. This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead the development of our organisation. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned media person with some experience in engaging with media with a proven track record of leadership during rapid growth.

Secretary
Responsible for ensuring the compliance of CityMuslims in relation to the day to day activities. As CityMuslims secretary the role covers a wide variety of functions including organising and preparing agendas, taking minutes of meetings. Also dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated effectively to the wider CityMuslims team

Sisters Liaison
Responsible for creating new avenues for organising events and activity for CityMuslims sister. Good communication skills are needed with a creative mind. It is also essential that the sister is a good organiser and has had some previous experience of organising events and acting as a team lead.


Please note that CityMuslims is a non-for-profit organisation and the above roles are paid for only by Allah (swt) in the next life. Typically you will be expected to contribute a minimum of 2 hours every week.
